Adelaide Colt Sothoron, a former receptionist who was active in volunteer work and women’s groups, died yesterday at Union Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

- Services were being held today at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, St. Paul & 20th Sts.

- Miss Sothoron lived on North Charles St.

- Known as Nancy, she retired nearly 10 years ago after working as a receptionist for what is now Greiner Engineering Sciences Inc. for 25 years and earlier for the law firm that is now known as Niles, Barton and Wilmer.

- She did volunteer work at Children's Hospital and earlier at the Hospital for the Women of Maryland.

- Born in Baltimore and a daughter of Pinckney and Corrine Sothoron, she was a graduate of what is now the Notre Dame Preparatory School.

- She is survived by a sister, Elizabeth Sothoron Worcester of Baltimore; a nephew, Robert O.C. Worcester of Phoenix; a niece, Josephine Worcester MacMillan of Hudson, N.H.; three grandnephews and three grandneices. (Evening Sun, Baltimore, MD, Reported 1986.10.09)
